The Kitsap County Board of Commissioners on March 10 approved several appointments to advisory boards and committees and adopted the consent agenda by voice vote.
Commissioners voted to appoint Erin Prince Collins of District 2 to the Board of Equalization for a three-year term ending March 9, 2028. Commissioner Root introduced Collins’s background as a certified real estate appraiser and noted prior experience in the Kitsap County assessor’s office. The motion to appoint Collins was made, seconded and carried.
The board also appointed Patricia Olson to the Manchester Community Advisory Council for a three-year term ending March 1, 2028; Jessica Rice to the Parks Advisory Board for a three-year term ending Dec. 31, 2027; Laurie (Lori) Clotier to the Solid Waste Advisory Committee for a four-year term ending Dec. 31, 2028; and Brian Hagre to the Suquamish Community Advisory Council for a three-year term ending June 11, 2028. For each appointment a commissioner read the nominee’s background, moved the appointment, and the board approved the motion by voice vote.
The consent agenda was moved, seconded and adopted by voice vote earlier in the meeting.
