Kern County Board adopts resolution honoring Assistant District Attorney Andrea Koehler on retirement

The Kern County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution on March 25 honoring Assistant District Attorney Andrea Koehler upon her retirement after 35 years of service to Kern County. The motion passed 4 ayes, 1 absent.

Supervisor David Flores moved the resolution and summarized Koehler’s career in the district attorney’s office, saying she “was appointed by former district attorney Edward Jagels as a prosecutor at the Kern County district’s office on 03/24/1990” and was later promoted and appointed to senior roles. Flores noted Koehler oversaw prosecutions, clerical staff, the crime lab, the Family Justice Center and the Bureau of Investigation in her most recent position.
