The Greenwood Board of Zoning Appeals on March 24 adopted written findings of fact for three variance petitions and continued a separate petition to the board's April 28 meeting.
The board voted 5-0 to adopt written findings and incorporate the evidence submitted into the record as the board's final decision for petition BZA2025-004, a development standards variance filed by Charles Baxter for property at 86 Kutzinger Road. The board took the same action by 5-0 votes on BZA2025-005, a development standards variance for petitioner John Haber for property at 206 Crosswood Lane, and BZA2025-006, a development standards variance filed by Jericho Morris on behalf of Milmar Buildings for property at 1275 West Sims Crossing Road. In each case a board member moved to adopt the written findings of fact incorporating the staff report and evidence; each motion carried unanimously.
Earlier in the meeting, the board granted a continuance for docket BZA2025-008 at the request of Eric Prime, who said he was appearing on behalf of petitioner Davis Holmes and asked for additional time to provide renderings of proposed townhomes and duplexes. The continuance was moved by Mr. Moles and seconded by Mr. King; the board agreed to move BZA2025-008 to the April 28 meeting.
