The Greenwood Advisory Planning Commission on Monday voted to continue a petition from Davis Homes, docket PC2025-007, to the commission27s April 14 meeting so the petitioner and city staff can resolve outstanding commitments.
Attorney Eric Prime of Veil Baylor Law Firm, representing Davis Homes, asked the commission for the continuance, saying the petitioner and staff are still working with the county and need additional time. "We are still working with staff and with the county on a solution to this issue and would request a continuance to your April 14 meeting," Prime said.
Commissioner Lexi moved to continue the item; Commissioner Price seconded the motion. The commission voted 9-0 to continue PC2025-007 to April 14.
The continuance keeps the item on the commission27s active docket while staff and the petitioner complete outstanding paperwork and negotiations referenced during the request.
