Council considered reappointments to the Tree Board. The mayor and staff recommended reappointing Andrew Linzen and Dana Ravel, whose current terms expire April 24, 2025; the council approved both reappointments to new three-year terms ending 04/24/2028 by roll call vote 5–0.
The council also addressed a Planning Commission vacancy created by Kendra Stroman’s resignation. City staff recommended Nolan Patel to fill the seat (term expires June 2026). Patel spoke briefly about his local roots and interest in planning; the council approved Patel’s appointment by unanimous roll call vote 5–0. Staff indicated Patel will receive onboarding information and his first Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for April 21.
