The Town of Templeton Select Board voted Wednesday to request an extension of federal fiscal year 2022–23 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to complete the School Street Neighborhood Improvements Project.
Linda Overing, Templeton’s CDBG grant administrator, told the Select Board the town received a $1.35 million award in July 2023 to upgrade water, drainage and roadways on School, Cottage and Vernon streets and to coordinate work with Municipal Light & Water and a Baldwinville school development.
