The Senate Health Committee voted to favorably report three gubernatorial appointments to the Rules Committee, the panel chair announced after a roll call vote. Senator Johnson moved the motion and the clerk recorded unanimous support from members present.
The appointments reported were Misty Crosby to the Ohio Advisory Council on Aging; Stephanie Coonsie to the Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board; and Karen Small Warpa to the Ohio Advisory Council on Aging. Senator Johnson made the motion to favorably report the governor’s nominations, and the clerk recorded affirmative votes from Chairman Huffman, Vice Chair Johnson, Ranking Member Liston, Senator Ingram, Senator Manchester and Senator Roethner.
Committee members had no additional questions before the vote. The chair said the majority report will be sent to the Rules Committee in reference. The committee then moved on to scheduled hearings on two awareness-day bills.
