The Ohio Senate Health Committee voted to favorably report three of the governor's appointments to the rules and reference committee after a roll-call vote during a committee meeting; the appointments are for Misty Crosby and Karen Small Warpa to the Ohio Advisory Council on Aging and Stephanie Coonsie to the Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.
Vice Chair Johnson moved to favorably report the appointments. The clerk took a roll call; Chairman Huffman, Vice Chair Johnson, Ranking Member Liston, Senator Ingram, Senator Manchester and Senator Rochner recorded “yes” votes. The committee chair said the favorable report will be forwarded to rules and reference.
The action advances the nominees to the next committee step; no further debate or questions were recorded during the vote. The committee did not record a second for the motion on the transcript excerpt provided.
The committee proceeded afterward to the first hearing on House Bill 4.
