The Richland County Community and Health Services standing committee reviewed and forwarded a resolution to the county board that lists provider contracts for 2025 that exceed $100,000, in keeping with the county’s new procurement policy.
Staff explained that contracts over $100,000 that are not already in the adopted budget must be reviewed by the committee and then by the full county board. Committee members were reminded that the listed contract amounts are caps and do not necessarily reflect final spending; actual payments depend on service volume.
The committee approved a motion to send the resolution and attached contract list to the county board for its consideration.
