The Richland County Executive Finance Committee convened a closed session during its March 2025 meeting to discuss items described in the meeting record as "financial, medical, social, or personal history of specific persons." Committee members named which staff or attendees would remain for the closed session and then left the public record.
Manning moved to enter closed session and the motion was seconded; the committee approved entering closed session by voice vote. At the conclusion of the closed session the committee returned to open session and the chair stated that there was no action on the items discussed in closed session.
Committee members then moved to adjourn; the meeting was scheduled to return April 8 at 5 p.m.
