UW Extension: office relocation and new area director announced

UW Extension staff said the county extension office will move the week of March 17 and introduced the incoming area extension director, Patrick Gatterman, who joins from UW–Stevens Point.
Jeremy, a UW Extension official working with Marathon County, told the committee that the Extension office is preparing to move during the week of March 17 and that operations would be largely closed while staff set up the new space. Facilities is supporting the move and staff expect to reopen after relocation activities are complete.
Jeremy also announced that Patrick Gatterman will begin as the new area extension director next week; Gatterman joins from UW–Stevens Point where he served as director of the Small Business Development Center. Jeremy said Jason Hausler will help with the transition and thanked the committee for its partnership over his tenure in the AED role.
