The proclamation for William Victor Geigel Sr. records his birthdate as October 11, 1932; that he served on the county board representing Supervisory District 8 from 1994 to (February, year not specified); and that he passed away January 26, 2025.
The board also proclaimed April 2025 as Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month in Manitowoc County. The proclamation cited 2024 county figures presented at the meeting: 419 investigated cases of child abuse and neglect and 88 petitions filed for children in need of protection or services.
