Kewaunee County Board approves agenda and minutes, appoints Donna Thomas to Library System Board; passes two recognition resolutions

Board reports and discussion: County Administrator Jeremy Kroll publicly thanked the highway department for extended winter-storm work, saying crews were out roughly 20 hours clearing roads and that the sheriff’s department and first responders provided service throughout the county. Kroll also previewed Door-Kewaunee legislative days in Madison with an overnight on March 19 and said topics and participants are being finalized; he said he would contact board members with relevant interests.

In committee updates, supervisors asked for more information about a proposed highway shop upgrade. Staff said requests for proposals for design work have been issued and design quotes were returned; a design selection was expected soon and a presentation to the County Board will follow once a design is available. Officials said financing details are not yet set and that a funding request could come forward in spring.
