KUSD parent thanks law enforcement after suspected school intruder apprehended

"I was able to pick all 3 of my children up from school today, and I am incredibly grateful for that," Kirby said during the public-comment portion of the meeting. She named the Kenosha Police Department, the Pleasant Prairie Police Department, the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department and the Kenosha Unified School District in expressing thanks for the response.
Kirby provided her home address for the record in the meeting transcript. The transcript does not provide additional details about the suspect, charges, or the timing and location of the incident beyond her account and expressions of gratitude.
The chairperson closed the citizens' comment period after Kirby's remarks and the board proceeded to its agenda items.
