At the March 26 Bay Oaks Recreational Campus Advisory Board meeting, town staff gave a detailed construction and operational update for the Bay Oaks recreation center and wider campus.
Jeff Haughey, director of community services, and project staff said contractors will begin pouring the rec center’s epoxy floor starting the week of April 7; staff expect the epoxy to cure for three to four weeks before toilets, partitions and gym equipment can be installed. “They’ll start pouring it second week, April 7,” Haughey said.
