City Administrator John Behanko reported the council “was in support of a 10 foot multi use path with the request this topic to be directed to the Traffic and Safety Committee for discussion.” He said Public Works will move forward with the Ferry Road culvert crossing design to accommodate a 22‑foot roadway and a 10‑foot multi‑use path.
Public Works Director Travis Moore told the council the project remains in the permitting stage and that stream work must take place in winter; he said the earliest construction start would be November of 2025 and that detour access via Bayview Road would be used during closure.
