Dr. Lynch, a staff member who presented the item, said the district established a one-time retirement incentive for up to 10 Lindbergh Teachers Association (LTA) unit members and that the addendum would add a single sentence to the existing memorandum of agreement to extend the retirement-effective date to Sept. 30. “We decided that that attrition process needed a little boost,” Dr. Lynch said, describing the change as a way to “hurry the attrition process along.”
