Trustee Plathas (trustee) asked about her participation and received confirmation she had attended at least one event; trustees thanked her for volunteering.
Stephanie Goddard introduced herself as a Hoffman Estates resident of Parcel A since 2017 and described local involvement: she said she volunteers with the Schaumburg Athletic Association (softball), attends neighborhood activities, and has worked as a hospice social-worker and mental-health intake assessor. Goddard said she began following planning and zoning issues after neighbors raised concerns in 2018 about changes on local parcels and that she is “passionate about” the village’s history and development patterns. Trustees asked about her availability given caregiving and work schedules; Goddard said she is available, described typical hospice hours and on-call responsibilities, and said she was “looking forward to doing something more with the civic community.”
Trustees thanked candidates for volunteering and reminded them that board consent appointments will be processed at the board’s April 7 meeting; staff said candidates need not attend that meeting in person and would be notified of appointment results.
No formal votes occurred during the interviews; trustees recorded candidate responses and signaled support to forward appointments at the next regular meeting.
