Committee adopts amendments and advances three bills to the floor or ways-and-means

The House Committee on Emergency Management, General Government, and Veterans on March 25 adopted amendments and advanced three bills: House Bill 2,269, House Bill 23,37 and House Bill 3,627.

The committee adopted a dash-1 amendment to House Bill 2,269 after a staff summary. For House Bill 3,627, which the committee staff summarized as requiring the Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs to provide grants to disabled veterans for accessibility resources at veteran-owned residences, Vice Chair Lewis moved the bill to the floor with a due-pass recommendation and referral to the Joint Committee on Ways and Means; that motion also passed on roll call.

All three measures were moved forward by recorded motion; committee members voiced no on‑record discussion before the roll calls were taken.
