The planning commission voted to approve a minor final subdivision for a tract on Miller’s Crossroad Road, after a presentation by the surveyor and a staff recommendation of approval.
Nicholas Northcutt of Northcutt Surveying told the commission the property owners (the Savage family) completed soils work and that the tract contains good soil sites. He said the proposal carves a house lot from a larger parcel and creates two additional rear lots with required road access. Staff recommended approval and the commission moved and seconded the motion; the commission approved the minor final.
No substantial objections were raised during public comment. Commissioners noted the front lots retain required acreage and the existing septic on the carved house lot.
