Granbury ISD staff presented the district’s interim financial statements covering the period Sept. 1, 2024 through Feb. 28, 2025. Revenue collected to date equaled 84.26% of the adopted budget, up from 79.85% at the same point last year; expenditures were at 49.33% of budget compared with 47.78% at the same point last year.
Board finance staff attributed the increase in local revenue to a redistribution of fund balance from the Hood County Appraisal District (HCAD). Staff recommended holding off on any budget amendments until further clarity is available on final totals. The district’s cash flow and investment report showed $287,184.84 in interest collected in the month and a fiscal‑year‑to‑date interest total of $1,073,209.53, slightly higher than the prior year’s $1,050,272.40.
Trustees had no substantive questions following the presentation and the board moved on to the rest of its agenda.
