The planning commission transmitted a report and recommendation dated March 6, 2025, recommending approval of the final development plan “with contingencies” as listed in that report.
The staff member told the council the development agreement for the PUD includes obligations that the city intends to address through tax‑increment financing. “Council will also be considering tonight a residential TIF to assist in the development of the residential area in the PUD along with a commercial TIF to fulfill its obligations under [the] development agreement for the PUD project,” the staff member said. During the public comment period, Carla Zupancic, a Chestnut Road resident, asked whether the name of the rehabilitation hospital had been released.
