House introduces dozens of bills, approves March 19 journal and adjourns to March 24

Raleigh — The North Carolina House of Representatives convened for legislative day 30 on March 20, 2025, approved the journal for March 19, acknowledged a Senate message on UNC Board of Governors appointments, recognized visiting students and pages, and heard the clerk read dozens of newly introduced bills and their committee referrals.

Representative Ahlman moved that the journal for March 19 be approved as written; the ayes were recorded and the journal was approved. Later in the session, Representative Amman moved and Representative Clampett seconded a motion that the House adjourn to reconvene Monday, March 24 at 1 p.m., subject to the standards and stipulations in Rule 15.1. The ayes prevailed and the House stood adjourned.
