Second-reading recorded vote: 113–2 in favor. The bill was read a third time and ordered sent to the Senate.
House Bill 198 (Notice of ABC Violation): The House passed the committee substitute to HB 198, which requires the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission to send written notice to a license holder within five days after receiving a report of a violation from ALE or other law enforcement. Second-reading recorded vote: 115–0 in favor. The bill was read a third time and ordered sent to the Senate.
Additional floor actions and referrals: The House noted numerous new bills and committee referrals during the session and received a special message from the Senate that the Senate adopted the conference report for House Bill 47 (appropriations and regulatory flexibility for communities impacted by Hurricane Helene); HB 47 was ordered enrolled and sent to the governor by special message.
