The Perrysburg Planning Commission recommended approval of the final site plan for Otterbein Perrysburg LLC, a project on River’s Edge Drive, to allow a new dumpster enclosure and associated landscape screening.
Jeff (vice president of property and construction for the applicant) joined via remote connection and staff summarized the background: the site came before the commission in 2020 and was granted certain allowances at that time. Staff noted the current request is a minor modification that otherwise meets code requirements. "Their current request is to add a dumpster enclosure and the associated landscape screening with that," staff said.
Staff reiterated two previously discussed deficiencies — incomplete sidewalk connections and a southeastern parking row lacking a landscape island — that were addressed during the 2020 review and remain as noted non‑conformities. Commissioners said they would not reopen the prior determinations and moved to recommend approval of the final site plan as submitted. With no public comment, the motion passed on a voice/roll call vote with all recorded as yes.
Staff said other aspects of the proposed modification meet standards and that Mark in the planning office prepared the staff report recommending approval. The commission’s recommendation will be forwarded per the city’s standard final‑plan review process.
