Personnel committee postpones zoning board reappointments until appointees can attend

Assistant City Clerk (read as part of the record) presented order number 24-109327 listing the mayor’s recommended reappointments: Ralph Lofton (term to expire Feb. 24, 2027), Thomas Golden (term to expire Feb. 24, 2027), Robert Levine (term to expire Feb. 24, 2028), and Thomas Pope (term to expire Sept. 12, 2026). None of the nominees attended the committee meeting.
Councilor Brown moved to postpone the reappointments until at least some or all appointees can attend for question-and-answer. The motion was seconded and carried by a committee vote recorded as 3–0.
The committee also voted to adjourn after taking that action. No public testimony or additional materials were presented concerning the nominees during the meeting.
