The board voted to withdraw its motion for summary suspension and the statement of charges in that file.
In a separate matter, the department said Lori M. Alexowitz (petition no. 2024-1776) decided to surrender her license and submitted the surrender on March 3, 2025. Based on that surrender, the department asked the board to withdraw the statement of charges; the board approved the withdrawal.
Both motions to withdraw the statement of charges and the motions for summary suspension (where applicable) passed by roll call with no recorded nays or abstentions. The board recorded the withdrawals as administrative efficiency steps tied to voluntary surrenders; those decisions remove the matters from the active contested-case docket and close the department—s pending actions against the two licensees.
