Doctor Lauren Young convened a meeting of the Department of Public Health advisory body and led members in approving the minutes from December and scheduling the next meeting for May 23.
The panel approved the December minutes after a motion by Lisa Thomas and a voice second; the presiding officer called for the question and the minutes were approved without recorded opposition. Betty Rosario identified herself as “board liaison” during roll call. The meeting opened the floor for public comment but received none.
Lisa Thomas told the group, “I know that I won't be able to make that meeting,” referring to the May 23 date. Member Stacy Schulman confirmed that she expected there would still be a quorum for the next meeting. With no further substantive updates, the group moved to adjourn.
The session consisted of routine procedural business: approving minutes, opening public comment (no speakers), noting schedules and attendance, and adjourning.
