The Harrison Central School District Board of Education approved the appointment of Jennifer Reynaldo as an assistant principal at Lewis M. Klein (LMK) Middle School during its March 19, 2025 regular business meeting.
Board members voted to approve item 3, which the clerk read as including "Jennifer Rinaldo for being carrying assistant principal at the Lewis and Pine Middle School" (as read at the meeting); the candidate introduced herself and was welcomed by staff and trustees. The motion carried with an affirmative voice vote.
Scott, a middle school principal who introduced Reynaldo to the meeting, told attendees Reynaldo "comes from Parsons and was recognized as a wonderful teacher" and described a rigorous selection process. "At the end of the day, Jen shined, and we are really excited," Scott said.
Jennifer Reynaldo addressed the board: "First, I want to thank the administrative team, the board for this opportunity because I am both excited but also deeply honored to join the LMK family," she said, adding she looks forward to meeting staff, students and families.
The appointment was recorded as part of the personnel consent items approved that evening; the district noted SED (State Education Department) clearance language for temporary and regular appointments where applicable. The board celebrated the appointment briefly before returning to the agenda.
