Council tables $20,000 amendment for consent-decree reporting, requests broader update

"Being that we are at the very end of the consent decree... I think it would benefit us to kind of have a holistic picture of where the consent decree stands," Hinderliter said, and he asked the committee to table the amendment so staff could prepare a broader status report.
Councilors voted to table the amendment and requested the requested update; the motion passed with affirmative votes from Councilors Plunkett, Burridge, Allen, Verdiugin and Waldman.
Why it matters: Consent-decree reporting often carries compliance deadlines and can require continuing consultant support. Councilors asked for a full accounting of remaining obligations before approving another quarterly-reporting amendment.
