Board receives construction and operations update; lift-station replacement estimated at $3.4 million

He also said the district held mobilization at Perry Hill and that heavy demolition will occur during spring break as contractors prepare that site for renovation work.
Dr. Bidding told the board the project team identified a failing lift station that was installed more than 30 years ago and is "on its last leg." He said the replacement will be expensive and that current estimates are in the $3.4 million range. "We're talking $3.4 [million] to put a brand new lift station in," he said, and added that the work will be paid from project contingency and scheduled for summer to connect the systems.
The board was also told that transportation and CTE project kickoff meetings are scheduled and that staff will return with further updates at the next meeting.
