Mayor reports nearly 400 CDBG survey responses; lists upcoming city events

Mayor Sherry L. Capello told the council on March 24 that the city's community development block grant (CDBG) needs assessment survey closed March 8 with nearly 400 responses; staff member Janelle will provide a consolidated-plan update next month.
The mayor announced several upcoming events: a Streetscape ribbon cutting on April 1 at 10 a.m. in front of Lebanon City Hall; a dog park groundbreaking scheduled for April 7 at 10 a.m. (organizers ask attendees to RSVP; the first 50 dogs will receive treats); United Way Day of Caring projects on April 26 with sign-ups at unitedwaylebcounty.org; and a National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 26, with the Lebanon City Police collecting unused or expired prescriptions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of City Hall.
The mayor said the CDBG consolidated-plan work is underway and that staff will report at a future department update meeting.
