The Bloomington City Council on March 24 opened and closed two public hearings on proposed annexation agreements for adjacent parcels at the western terminus of Lutz Road.
Development Services Director Kelly Pfeiffer told the council the south parcel, roughly 17 acres south of Lutz Road near Business 55, is under contract to a solar developer that proposes a leased solar facility. The north portion is under contract to Trinity Lutheran Church for potential future campus expansion and stormwater detention; staff said there are no immediate development plans for that tract.
