On a separate vote, the commission approved selling an asphalt distributor truck and a prime tank on GovDeals. Commissioner Herring moved that item and Commissioner Adams seconded it; the motion passed.
The commission adopted a resolution to vacate the portion of D Clark Road owned by Houston County. The record shows the motion was seconded by Commissioner Harris and also recorded with a second from Commissioner Harvey; the transcript indicates the road is partially maintained by the Town of Taylor and that two parcels at the north end of Deep Park Road would be cut off from access to Trawick Road without easements.
