The Oshkosh Redevelopment Authority voted Sept. 21 to transfer remnant RDA parcels at 0 Pioneer Drive and 0 East Seventh Avenue to the City of Oshkosh so they can be combined with other parcels for the Riverwalk/Mill On Main development.
Staff described the parcels as small remnants left over from multiple adjacent parcels that need to be combined to assemble the larger development site. One parcel sits just north of the Brooklyn Condos near South Main Street; another is near the railroad and over the water. Staff said the combined parcel will be maintained by the city parks department once transferred.
The authority approved the transfer by roll call. Staff said the action is a cleanup step to consolidate land for the Mill On Main project and that the transfer will later go to the city council for formal approval.
