The Oshkosh Transportation Committee approved administrative parking adjustments for two locations: removal of select no‑parking restrictions on South Main Street and adding a newly built parking lot at East Ninth Avenue into the municipal code.
Staff said the South Main change converts two previously restricted curb sections to permit parking after sawcutting added curb cutouts on the east side. The measure was presented as an administrative adjustment to reflect existing conditions and was approved with no public opposition.
The committee also voted to add the newly completed East Ninth Avenue parking lot—intended to serve the Sawdust District and Riverwalk users—into the municipal code as unrestricted daytime parking with the exception of the citywide 2 a.m.–5 a.m. restriction and designated handicap spaces. The committee treated both items as routine administrative actions and approved them without extended discussion; roll call votes were unanimous.
