The Oshkosh Advisory Park Board voted to approve the formal agreement with the Oshkosh Area School District to provide lifeguard services at Pollock Community Water Park for the 2025–26 season.
Parks staff member Jared described the item as a formality: the district has provided updated wages for the positions and the parties renew the existing contract every two years. Jared told the board that wages increased roughly 4 to 4.25 percent this year to align with city compensation adjustments.
The board moved and seconded approval; members recorded “Aye” and the motion carried. No significant changes to the scope of services were reported.
Staff said the arrangement has worked well for the city and school district and that the lifeguard program will continue under the renewed contract.
