The West Bend Board of Public Works approved three items related to public infrastructure: orders for removal and replacement of sidewalks under contract 2501 (Kilbourne Avenue from Main Street to Indiana Avenue and Third Avenue from Sycamore to Chestnut) and contract 2503 (Edgewood Lane from Wisconsin to Indiana), and Amendment No. 2 to a stormwater management maintenance agreement tied to a property change by Manitou.
City engineering staff said the sidewalk orders are standard proceedings the board forwards so the finance department may invoice property owners when costs are shared. Staff described the stormwater maintenance agreement as routine: Manitou modified a portion of its property to build a loading dock and consequently amended its stormwater permit; the agreement ensures the city can require ongoing maintenance so stormwater facilities function as designed.
Each motion to approve was seconded and passed without recorded opposition. The board chair adjourned the public-works meeting after the items were approved.
