The Planning Commission of the City of West Bend on Feb. 4 approved a conditional use permit to allow a tattoo establishment, Trillium Tattoo LLC, to operate at 544 South Main Street, Unit B.
City staff told the commission the business would operate by appointment from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, would employ one or two staff on site at a time and expects two to six clients a day. Deliveries will be made to the owner’s residence and brought to the business. Staff said the applicant already holds a state tattooing license and that notice was sent to property owners within 200 feet; staff reported no inquiries or objections. The commission approved the permit with the conditions listed in the staff report.
The public hearing on the conditional use produced no speakers. After the hearing was closed, a commissioner moved to recommend approval and the motion carried without recorded opposition. The commission did not provide a numeric roll-call in the meeting transcript.
