Downtown West Bend Association and The Bend preview 2025 spring–fall events, GlobalFest planned for June

Representatives of Downtown West Bend Association and The Bend theater previewed a slate of spring and summer events including Spring Bling (April 5), Spring Wine Walk (April 12), Art Walk / Premier & Auction (May 3), the Farmers Market beginning May 17 and an inaugural GlobalFest in June.
Representatives from the Downtown West Bend Association and The Bend theater briefed the Bid Board on a packed seasonal calendar for downtown events on March 4.
Noel and Leona from the Downtown West Bend Association said Spring Bling will be April 5 (10 a.m.–5 p.m.) with about 18 participating shops. The Spring Wine Walk is April 12 (3–7 p.m.) with 20 stops. The association plans an Art Walk and a banner premiere and auction May 3 at the Museum of Wisconsin Art, with about 42–43 artist banners to hang downtown from May through October; sponsorship is $100 per banner. The Farmers Market opens Saturday, May 17 and will run Saturdays through October from 7:30–11 a.m.
The association also previewed Music on Main block parties starting May 29 and running through Sept. 4, with 12 Thursday events at Old Settlers Park; association representatives said they are arranging a temporary canopy where the gazebo once stood. The group is partnering with the Bend theater on the block parties.
The association announced a new event, GlobalFest, planned for the weekend of June 20–21 with food and cultural programming concentrated near Old Settlers Park on Main Street because of current electrical capacity needs. “Think of it like an Epcot, like a little Epcot where you're doing a taste of, you know, around the world with different countries,” one representative said.
Leaders from The Bend summarized upcoming theater programming—film nights, tribute bands and comedy acts—and reiterated their partnership role with block parties. The Bend said it plans to partner with nonprofits and community groups for some May events and is offering fundraising partnership nights.
Board members thanked both groups for event planning and sponsorship outreach; no formal approvals or permits were decided at the meeting. Association staff said they are preparing a special events permit application and will coordinate logistics with the city.
