The Fond du Lac City Council unanimously approved resolution 9168 on Feb. 26 authorizing the city to file applications with the Federal Transit Administration for federal transportation assistance.
Public Works Director DeVries told the council the authorization is a routine requirement for agencies that receive federal transit funds and said the city must complete the authorization by the following week to keep grant processes on schedule. DeVries described the resolution as a standard “authorizing resolution” that helps keep grants in order.
A motion to approve was made by Councilmember Schisler and seconded by Councilmember Godfrey; with no further discussion the council voted and the motion passed unanimously.
