After staff summarized the draft goals and a single added item on planning commission representation on community groups, a commissioner moved adoption. The motion passed on a roll-call vote with all commissioners present recorded as voting in the affirmative.
The adopted list includes long-range planning activities and an item asking staff to clarify representation on external community groups (for example, local boards such as the Chamber of Commerce). Staff said the final goals will guide the commission’s work plan for the year and that any changes could be proposed through the usual process.
The commission asked staff to return in April with updates on the town-area plan and other ongoing projects.
