The council on March 24 heard a first reading of Ordinance 25-11, a voluntary annexation petition covering about 16.2 acres along East Street. Community Development staff confirmed the petition was properly noticed and opened a public hearing; no members of the public spoke.
Ryan Collingwood said the parcels lie south of East 190th Street and west of Flippinits Road; the annexation was noticed for public hearing and will be eligible for adoption at the council's first April meeting when the fiscal plan is presented. The council opened the public hearing at 7:28 p.m. and closed it the same night with no public speakers.
The item remains at first reading and will return with the fiscal plan and staff recommendation.
