Clay County Commissioners Court: votes at a glance on payroll, equipment purchases, salary changes and permits

The Clay County Commissioners Court met and approved a series of routine and substantive items, including hospital bills and payroll, surplus declarations, the purchase and financing of heavy equipment, a county salary-structure revision and a permit for an underground pipeline. Most items passed by unanimous vote; the revised 2024–25 salary structure passed 4–1.

The court approved minutes, line-item budget amendments, hospital bill payments and hospital payroll by general consent (approved 5–0). The court declared a 2009 Belshi backhaul trailer surplus and authorized its transfer between precincts (approved 5–0). The sheriff’s surplus declaration for four Chevrolet Tahoes to be sold at public auction was approved (5–0). The court approved precinct events for the Bridge Street annex and several departmental reports (each approved 5–0).

The court certified additional insurance-reimbursement revenue of $5,557.14 for equipment parts and repairs and placed it in the applicable precinct fund (approved 5–0).
