After discussion, a motion was made and seconded to table the outstanding appointments until the new board members are seated beginning in January, and the commission voted to table the items. Commissioners also noted the need to ask law-enforcement for recommendations where applicable and to verify qualifications against the relevant category lists before making nominations.
The decision to table was recorded as a procedural action; staff were directed to return the appointment items in January with any requested confirmations of category eligibility and law-enforcement recommendations where relevant.
