The Village of Williamsville Board of Trustees approved a set of routine financial and administrative measures on Jan. 13, including budget transfers, payroll and voucher approvals, a professional-services contract for a roof project, travel authorizations, and election notices.
Board members approved a budget-transfer resolution for the general fund as written in the packet and then authorized payroll and vouchers totaling $547,826.18 covering the payroll period through Jan. 13, 2025. Trustees also authorized board members to attend an annual legislative meeting in Albany from Feb. 2–4, 2025, at costs not to exceed $825 per person as set out in the resolution.
The board authorized the mayor to sign a proposal from Quinn Battaglia Architects in the amount of $8,250 to prepare construction and bidding documents for the Lehigh Valley section house roof replacement and related repairs; the packet notes the project is budgeted in the current fiscal year. Trustees also adopted resolutions setting the next village election for June 17, 2025, with voting hours from noon to 9 p.m., and designating the Williamsville Village Hall as the sole polling place for the one election district that covers the village.
Separately, the board adopted Local Law No. 1 of 2025 to amend Chapter 103 (Vehicles and Traffic), Section 16, establishing a no-standing restriction on the east side of North Ellicott Street (100 feet north of Main Street). The board also authorized staff to submit a state ADU grant application (see separate article) and discussed follow-up steps for implementation if funding is awarded.
All listed measures were approved by voice vote in the meeting; the minutes record "Aye" for the affirmative votes. The board packet shows most items were routine and budgeted; specific contract and grant awards will require staff follow-up and, in some cases, future board action.
