Williamsville adopts local law creating no-standing zone on North Ellicott Street

The board closed the public hearing on the measure and approved the local law by voice vote during the meeting. The resolution language as read at the meeting specifies the restriction and updates the village traffic code accordingly.
Officials said the change is intended to clarify parking and vehicle stopping rules on that block; enforcement details were discussed as part of broader parking-policy comments earlier in the meeting but no additional ordinance language beyond the amendment to Chapter 103 was introduced at this session.
