BZA selects nominating committee members, schedules continuing-education session

At the close of its meeting, the Berkeley County Board of Zoning Appeals appointed a nominating committee and heard from staff about an upcoming continuing education session.
Board member Matthew Smith volunteered and was joined by Harold Joy and another volunteer, forming a three-person nominating committee to prepare nominations for the next meeting. The board asked the group to meet and present recommendations at the following meeting.
Miss Allison, county planning staff, announced a continuing-education session scheduled for April 22 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. that will focus on attainable and workforce housing and include invited speakers. The session will occur prior to the Planning Commission meeting.
The board adjourned after approving the committee and receiving the staff notice.
