Commissioners appoint Tim Gay to opioid advisory steering committee for county allocation

Commissioner Steve moved and Commissioner Jan seconded the nomination of Tim Gay; the board approved the appointment by voice vote. Meeting participants noted the committee includes public-health, law-enforcement and judicial representation and will be chaired/led by county health-department staff (Liz referenced in materials).
No spending or allocation decisions were made at the meeting; commissioners said the appointed member will participate in committee deliberations and return with recommendations for program funding and oversight.
