Richland County confirms five committee appointments and names Britney Paulus Pine Valley Community Village administrator

The Richland County Board of Supervisors approved five appointments to boards and committees and confirmed Britney Paulus as Pine Valley Community Village administrator.

The committee on committees presented five recommended appointments: Supervisor Engel to the Aging Unit Advisory Committee (filling a vacancy caused by Marty Brewer); Supervisor Engel to the Criminal Justice Coordinating Committee; Joan Kepler as the county citizen representative to the Southwest Wisconsin Library System; Julie Fleming to the Tri-County Airport committee; and Supervisor Williamson and Dan Hilberry as the county’s two appointees to the Lower Wisconsin State Riverway Board. The board approved all five appointments by voice vote after a motion from Supervisor Kramer and a second from Supervisor Cooley.

Separately, the board confirmed Britney Paulus as Pine Valley Community Village administrator. Kramer moved the appointment and Hendricks seconded; the board approved the appointment by voice vote. The transcript records that Angie Wall had served in the interim role and that Paulus previously provided consulting services to the facility.

The committee chair said other vacancies and committee assignments will be addressed after the new county board supervisor is placed in April; the deadline to express interest in the District 3 vacancy was stated as March 28 at 4 p.m.
